Pakistan: 277/7 (50 ov)Sri Lanka: 266/9 (50.0 ov)
Pakistan won by 11 runs
Both teams had a wonderfull outings in the their respective opening matches as they went on to score big socres playing first against minnows of world cricket. Now Pakistan will be playing against Sri Lanka on 26 February 2011 which will be played at Colombo Cricket Stadium. This is the probably the biggest match in the world cup so far as two of the favourites to win the world cup will go head to head in this big match on 26th of this month. Both teams will be looking ot get a win under their belt and it is going to be a epic match to say the least.
Sri Lanka defeated Canada in the opening match as former Captain Mahela Jaywerdene went on to score 100 and helped Sri Lanka get a good score before bowlers did their job and put the game to bed while Pakistan also had a good start to the campaign and they will be hoping to go all the way this time around under Shahid Afridi who played a good match not with the bat and it was his bowling which put the game to bed for Paksitan. Predictions: This is a match between two of the former World Champions and since it is played in Sri Lanka the home support and the conditions I can see Sri Lanka winning the match and keep their winning streak while Paksitan will have to do play a real good game to win this match.
